This study was conducted by the Family Health and Development Lab at SMU and the FACES Lab at TCU.

What WAS the purpose of this study?

The Couples & Kids with Autism Study was a longitudinal study aimed at better understanding the strengths and challenges of families raising a child on the autism spectrum. Children with a community diagnosis of autism (verbal, between ages 10-16 years) and both of their parents (married or cohabiting) were eligible to participate.
